This beautiful two storey beach house on a large open lot of land surrounded by trees reminds one of German country house with its A frame roof and masonry exterior on the ground floor. This is why we call it cheekily the Green Castle of the Beach.

It does not matter whether its Australian or German. The house is ideal for a family holiday on the Mornington Peninsula. On a tranquil street in Rye, you are within walking distance to front beach and only a couple of minutes' drive to the shopping, dining and entertainment centre of Rye, including the kids' favorite Carnivals and gelato shop. Other popular destinations including the Peninsula hot spring, St Andrews Brewery, sailing clubs, golf links and back beach national parks are also easily within reach.

Stay at the house is guaranteed to be delightful, thanks to the large updated gourmet kitchen, gracious bed configurations, large a/c unit, retro copper fire place with copper pipe upstairs to the chimney, 50sqm outdoor decking and possible conversion of the downstair bedroom to second living room.
